George Tinley (c 1834 - 1896)

Biography


George Tinley, son of George and Ann Tinley, formerly Guiler, was born abt 1834, in Basford, Nottinghamshire. At the time of the 1851 England census when he was 17 years of age George was residing with his parents at George Street employed as a Lace Maker.

By the time of the 1871 census George was employed as a railway station clerk and was living at Station House, Railway Street, Wolverhampton, with his wife and six children.

George married Emily Ann Dunn in the June Qtr 1861, West Bromwich. 6b 828 Emily Ann was born abt 1833 and died at the age of 54 in 1887 at West Bromwich.
