John Tinley (1842 -
Biography
John Tinley, son of John and Mary Ann Tinley, formerly Newton, was born c 1842. At the time of the 1861 census John was living at his parents house and was a house painter. John remained unmarried and was living with his mother Mary Ann in 1871. John died at the age of 42 on the 26th April 1884, at the Union Workhouse, Northfield, Kings Norton. The cause of death is described as Brain Softening 3 years. John’s mother Mary Ann who was in attendance registered the death on 28th April 1884, in the sub district of Edgbaston, Kings Norton.
