Biography
William Tinley, son of Charles and Maria Tinley, formerly Elliott, was born in the
Mar Qtr 1853 (GRO 7b 447) in Chesterfield and married Emma Bridden in the Dec Qtr
of 1884 Registration District Eccleshall (gro 9c 516). William died 1st Qtr 1929
(GRO 7b 1191) at Chesterfield. Emma Bridden was born c1857 at Brampton, Derbyshire
(c1901.5), and died on the 6th May 1924 at Laurel Bank, 9 Clarence Road, Chesterfield,
her son Frederick’s home at that time. Emma suffered with Broncho-
