Biography
Francis Rowland Tinley son of Walter and Sarah Ann Tinley, formerly Heath, was born in the Dec qtr of 1865. His birth was registered in Kings Norton. At the age of [24] Francis Rowland married Alice Sarah Harris in the Sep qtr of 1889. The marriage was registered at Birmingham. At the time of the 1881 census, at the age of 15, Francis Rowland was employed as a clerk and was living at the family home 50 Vincent Street with his parents and siblings. Alice Sarah Harris was born c 1865 in Lambeth, London. At the time of the 1891 census he was living at 20 Woodbridge Road, Kings Norton with his wife Alice and first born son Frank Edward.
