Herbert William Tinley, son of Walter and Sarah Ann Tinley, formerly Heath, was born on the 2nd July 1874, at the family home Edwards Street, Kings Norton , County of Worcestershire. His birth was registered on the 13th August, 1874, by his father Walter. In 1901 he was employed as a Clerk in the Bedstead trade.
Likely to have married Lilian Beatrice Millward in June Qtr of 1904 as there was a child born Dec Qtr 1906 called Neville Millward Tinley.
