Jessie Harriett Tinley, daughter of Richard and Sarah Jessie Harriett Tinley, formerly Hancock, was born on the 8th August 1873, at the family home Victoria Place, Mary Street, Kings Norton. The birth was registered by her mother on the 4th September, 1873, at Kings Norton, county of Worcester. At the time of the 1901 census Jessie Harriett was unmarried and living with her brother John and sister Ada at 73 Vincent Street, Birmingham. She was employed as a Laquerer.
